Da Nang strengthens cooperation with Laos' Champasak Province
When receiving a delegation from Laos’ Champasak Province, led by its Deputy Governor Somboun Hueangvongsa, Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh expressed his joy at the fruitful development of the relationship between Viet Nam and Laos in general, and Da Nang and Lao localities in particular.

Specifically, in 2023, Da Nang and Champasak Province signed a Memorandum of Understanding on boosting cooperation, especially in human resource training and Vietnamese language teaching during the 2023-2027 period.
Vice Chairman Minh unveiled that, in April 2024, Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Le Trung Chinh will have a working trip to some provinces of Laos. Therefore, he voiced his hope that Deputy Governor Somboun Hueangvongsa will facilitate Da Nang to learn more about the Laotian locality.
He hoped that the solidarity and friendship between the two Parties and the two States will keep growing, and the close ties between Champasak Province and Da Nang will continue to be consolidated and deepened.
Deputy Governor Somboun Hueangvongsa expressed his impression on Da Nang's socio-economic development results in recent times, especially in tourism field. He took the opportunity to thank the Da Nang leader for devoting resources to support Champasak Province in various spheres, especially in human resource training.
