Intel Corporation seeks cooperation opportunities with Da Nang in semiconductor and AI

During his meeting on Tuesday with Mr. Brian G.Gonzalez, who is Director of International Government Relations in charge of the global programme of the US-based Intel Corporation, Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang informed about his city’s strengths in attracting investment in the semiconductor and artificial intelligence (AI) industries.

He hoped that the Intel Corporation and the city will foster their bilateral cooperation in the coming time, thereby contributing to realising the goal of making Da Nang an attractive investment destination in in the semiconductor industry in Viet Nam.

Mr. Quang emphasised that the city wanted to have a systematic plan and strategy in developing AI in the near future. Therefore, his city pledged to cooperate closely and responsibly with the Intel Corporation in the process of developing the semiconductor industry in general and AI technology in particular.

For his part, Director of International Government Relations of Intel Corporation Brian G.Gonzalez thanked the city leader for his warm welcome and highly appreciated the city's potential in developing the fields of semiconductor and AI.

Introducing to the city leader the technology solutions that Intel is focusing on developing to popularise AI everywhere, the US guest shared that the Intel Corporation wanted to seek cooperation opportunities with Da Nang in aspects of digital transformation, creativity, and human resource training.
