On Thursday, Chairman of Son Tra District People's Committee Hoang Son Tra and his counterpart Kim Soon Ho from Gurye District, Jeollanam Province, South Korea, inked a cooperation agreement in spheres of tourism, culture, and people-to-people exchange.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Kim Soon Ho expressed his joy about the cooperation deal between Gurye and Son Tra District, which will open up more positive and dynamic cooperation opportunities, especially in the fields of culture, tourism, agriculture and human resource training.

Mr. Hoang Son Tra emphasised that Son Tra and Gurye districts shared great similarities in the development orientation of tourism, one of their spearhead economic sectors.

He added that the two districts have exchanged delegations of officials to discuss and agree on the content of the cooperation agreement over the past time.
