Da Nang wants to promote establishment of cooperative relations with Le Havre, France
During his reception on Friday for Consul General of France in HCM City Emmanuelle Pavillon-Grosser, Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairman Tran Chi Cuong asked for her help to introduce the city to some partners in France, especially Le Havre City.

Vice Chairman Cuong highly lauded the active support of the French Consulate General and French Embassy in promoting cooperation between Da Nang and French localities, especially in the aspects of education and culture in recent years.
He informed that in the near future, a group of Da Nang leaders will have a business trip to France. Therefore, he hoped that the French diplomat will create favourable conditions for the city's delegation to visit and work in France, especially promoting the establishment of a friendly and cooperative relations between Da Nang and Le Havre City.
At the same time, he asked for support from Mrs. Emmanuelle Pavillon-Grosser to call on French investors to visit and learn about the investment climate and seek cooperative opportunities in Da Nang in the coming time.

For her part, French Consul General Emmanuelle Pavillon-Grosser said that French investors doing business in Da Nang gave good reviews about the city's mechanisms, policies and investment environment.
She affirmed that she will continue her efforts to appeal for more French businesses and investors to come to Da Nang to explore the investment and cooperation environment.
The French Consul General showed her keen interest in the scale, implementation progress and operating time of the Software Park No. 2, and Centralised Information Technology Park in order to provide information to French investors involving high technology field.
At the same time, she voiced her hope that Da Nang will further promote French language teaching programmes in schools. She expressed her desire that the municipal government will pay much attention to organising cultural exchange activities between the two countries to mark the forthcoming International Francophonie Day (March 20).
