Da Nang asks for help from Sioux Technologies to research and expand investment in semiconductor
During his reception on Tuesday for Mr. Hans Duisters, CEO and Founder of the Sioux Technologies, Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang briefed him on the city’s general socio-economic situation and its innovative startup ecosystem.

Secretary Quang informed that the National Assembly of Viet Nam has receently passed Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 dated June 26, 2024 on the urban administration organisation and the piloting of a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang.
Da Nang is investing in infrastructure for the development of the semiconductor and artificial intelligence industries, and at the same time, is striving to improve the legal basis and create ecosystems for high-tech industry development.

Besides, Da Nang is concentrating on training and attracting high-quality human resources to serve the development of semiconductor industry. Therefore, Mr. Quang hoped that with his experience and reputation, Mr. Hans Duisters will give the city some useful advice on these contents.
For his part, Mr. Hans Duisters said that Sioux Technologies is one of the strong corporations in the field of research and development of microchips with more than 1,200 engineers worldwide.
He expressed his happiness as having the opportunity to cooperate with Da Nang to discuss policies and strategies for semiconductor IC development.

According to Mr. Hans Duisters, Da Nang has many strengths and opportunities to develop the field of software and semiconductor chips. Currently, Viet Nam is focusing on developing the production of high-tech equipment, so this is also an opportunity for Da Nang, he said.
Mr. Hans Duisters stressed the need for the city to connect with semiconductor chip manufacturers, thereby creating an environment and ecosystem of companies producing high-tech equipment in the city.
He also underlined a must-do for the city to issue preferential policies to attract experts with experience in the field of semiconductor circuits and innovative startups to work and share experiences with the younger generation. He proposed Da Nang to call on and attract experts from Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City to work in the city.
The visitor said that he is always willing to share his experience with Da Nang to help the city raise its position in the hardware supply chain.
