Speaking at a ceremony celebrating the 75^th anniversary of China's National Day (October 1) hosted by the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang on Thursday, municipal People’s Committee Standing Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh congratulated China on great and significant achievements the Chinese Party, State and people have obtained over the past 75 years.

Vice Chairman Minh expressed his delight at the fine development of the relations between Da Nang and Chinese localities of Shandong, Jiangsu and Kunming.

He said the city highly appreciated the active role of the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang over the past years. He hoped that the agency will continue to be a bridge to promote cooperation programmes between Da Nang and Chinese partners, thereby contributing to fostering friendly and multifaceted cooperation between the people of Viet Nam and China.

In reply, Ms. Dong Bi You, the Chinese Consul General in Da Nang, thanked the sentiments, special attention and active support of the city leaders for the Consulate General of China.

She affirmed that in the coming time, the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang will actively promote and strengthen friendly exchanges and practical cooperation between Chinese localities and Da Nang as well as consular areas, bringing benefits to the people of the two countries.
