Chairman of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang Le Van Trung hosted a reception on Thursday for Chinese Consul General in Da Nang Dong Biyou.

At the reception, Mr. Trung informed the Chinese guest about the city’s socio-economic situation, and its development potential and orientation in the coming time.

He expressed his hope that the Chinese diplomat will continue acting as a bridge to promote cooperation activities between Da Nang and Chinese partners in general, and between the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of the city and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in particular.

For her part, Chinese Consul General in Da Nang Dong Biyou congratulated the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of the city on successfully organising its 12^th Congress for the 2024-2029 term.

She pledged to do her utmost to further foster the cooperative relationship and people-to-people exchange between Chinese localities and Da Nang, hoping that the two sides will continue enhancing comprehensive cooperation in many fields in the years ahead.
