Da Nang donates Hai Phong VND 10 billion to cope with storm aftermath
A group of Da Nang’s officials, led by Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang, visited and donated Hai Phong VND 10 billion on Tuesday in an effort to help the city to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 (Yagi).

On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang, Secretary Quang sent condolences and sympathies to Hai Phong City over its losses caused by storm No. 3. He expressed his hope that Hai Phong will soon overcome difficulties and stabilise people's lives.
In reply, Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee Le Tien Chau expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the kind sentiments from the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang.

He informed that, the entire political system of Hai Phong, together with the armed forces and people, is taking drastic actions to cope with the aftermaths of typhoon Yagi, stabilise the lives of affected people, and resume production, business and normal activities of social life.
Da Nang has sent four working groups to support and donate VND 25 billion in order to help northern provinces and cities overcome the aftermath of recent typhoon Yagi.

At the same time, two working groups, consisting of 22 employees of the Da Nang Green Park Company, have been sent to Ha Noi and Hai Phong to support these localities in cutting, trimming and cleaning trees.
The Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of the city has also issued a letter calling for donations and other timely and effective support activities in order to help northern provinces and cities overcome the consequences of typhoon Yagi.
