Mr. Chinh stressed the need for Da Nang to perfect institutions of the socialist-oriented market economy; innovate and effectively apply scientific achievements, and develop green economy, digital economy, circular economy, and sharing economy; and decentralise and allocate resources, and accelerate administrative procedure reform.

The Government leader urged the city's officials to make efforts to successfully achieve the goals and tasks set for 2024 and the entire term, striving for a GRDP growth rate of 8-8.5% in 2024, and ensuring major balances, controlling inflation, and stabilising the macro-economy.

He also reminded the city that socio-economic development should be coupled with the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values and environmental protection, the effective settlement of social issues, enhancement of integration and foreign relations, strengthening of national defence and security, and the maintenance of political stability, social order, and safety.

He underlined the significance of building the Party and the political system in a transparent and strong direction, improving the leadership capacity and the combat strength of Party organisations and members.

The Prime Minister also asked ministries and sectors to coordinate with and support Da Nang in carrying out its tasks, particularly in addressing related issues and promoting development.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the municipal Party Committee, Secretary Nguyen Van Quang thanked the PM, and leaders of departments, ministries and branches, for spending their time and affection to work with the city, thereby suggesting many valuable ideas.

He voiced his hope that Da Nang will receive active support from ministries and branches to carry out the tasks assigned by the PM, especially in resolving the city’s recommendations, as well as building special mechanisms and policies approved by the National Assembly in Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15.
