Chairman Chinh informed that Da Nang and the Philippines shared many similarities in terms of geographical location and potential for future cooperation. The city has been focusing on developing information technology, hi-tech industry, innovative startups, seaports, and especially tourism, he added.

The city leader stated 2025 will mark the 10th anniversary of the strategic partnership between the Philippines and Viet Nam. He, therefore, asked the Filipino diplomat to act as a bridge to promote the bilateral cooperation between the Philippines and Da Nang, especially in economics, education, trade, investment, tourism, and people-to-people exchange.
