Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong made the remarks when warmly receiving Bangladeshi Ambassador to Viet Nam Mohammad Lutfor Rahman in the city on Tuesday.

He also asked a helping hand from Bangladeshi diplomat to call on more investors and businesses from his country to explore investment opportunities in Da Nang in such spheres as high technology, semiconductors, innovative startups, tourism, education and healthcare.

For his part, Ambassador Mohammad Lutfor Rahman thanked the city leader for his warm welcome, introducing Bangladesh's strengths such as maritime industry, seafood export, and agriculture.

At the same time, he expressed his desire to cooperate with Da Nang in such aspects as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, education and healthcare in the coming time.

He pledged to act as a bridge to actively promote the friendship and cooperation between Bangladesh and Da Nang in the years to come.
