Speaking at the event, PM Chinh, who is Chairman of the National Committee for Digital Transformation, emphasised that digital transformation is an inevitable trend, an objective requirement, a strategic choice and a top priority for rapid and sustainable development.

It is a mission of the entire Party, army, and people, contributing to the realisation of the aspiration to build a strong and prosperous nation, where the people enjoy a wealthy and happy life, and no one is left behind, he stated.

He said Viet Nam is on the right track with a focus on promoting digital transformation, green transformation, and infrastructure development.

The Government leader also stressed the need to promote three strategic breakthroughs of digital institutions, digital infrastructure, and digital human resources to enable the country to catch up with other nations, advance, and thrive in the new era.

To do that, PM Chinh required active participation, especially from leaders at all levels and relevant agencies need to accelerate the development of synchronous infrastructure, and avoid shortages of electricity and telecommunication signals, especially in remote areas.

During the event, representatives of businesses, Community Digital Technology Teams and Project 06 that have effective digital transformation models shared knowledge and experience to ministries, departments, branches and localities to have more solutions to develop digital economy and digital society.

This year, Da Nang had two typical representatives attending the Programme to welcome National Digital Transformation Day at the Government. In particular, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Head of Community Digital Technology Team and Project 06 at the Dong Xuan 3 residential area, An Khe Ward, Thanh Khe District, had the model "Mobile citizen support team". Meanwhile, Mr. Dinh Van Hin, Head of the Community Digital Technology Team and Project 06, in Ta Lang Village, Hoa Bac Commune, Hoa Vang District, had the model “Point to apply information technology and digital transformation”.

The abovementioned models of the city represented the determination to innovate and implement the goal of bringing digital transformation into the lives of all people, thereby raising awareness and developing the economy and society. From these two typical models, the city will replicate and add experience for the Community Digital Technology Teams and Project 06 to learn from and promote their leading role in digital transformation.
