Da Nang looks to expand cooperation with the US
The Da Nang Union of Friendship Organisations hosted a reception on Tuesday for Mr. Justin Walls, Cultural and Educational Attaché of the US Consulate General during his visit to Da Nang.

At the reception, Vice President of the municipal Union of Friendship Organisations Nguyen Thi Kim Tuyen briefed the US guest on the city’s development orientation, and the position and role of the Union of Friendship Organisations and the city branch of the Viet Nam - US Friendship Association in the local people-to-people diplomacy.
She also asked the US Consulate General to closely work with the Union and the Viet Nam - US Friendship Association in the city to organize activities in celebration of the 30th founding anniversary of Viet Nam-US diplomatic relations (1995-2025). She voiced his hope that Mr. Justin Walls will do his utmost to call on potential US corporations and investors in the fields of semiconductors and artificial intelligence (AI) to seek cooperation and investment opportunities Da Nang.
For his part, Mr. Justin Walls thanked the warm welcome of the leaders of the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organisations. He hoped that the US and the city will enhance their bilateral cooperation, and cultural and people-to-people exchange activities, in the near future.
