Da Nang leader receives Deputy Commander of Viet Nam People's Navy

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh held a reception on Wednesday for a Viet Nam People's Navy delegation led by its Deputy Commander, Rear Admiral Nguyen Dinh Hung.

Rear Admiral Nguyen Dinh Hung sent Tet greetings to the Party Committee, government, and people of the city. He wished the city to continue to develop sustainably according to the Central Government's direction, thanking the city for its care and support for the navy in general, and naval officers and soldiers of Naval Region 3 in particular.

At the same time, he asked for support from the city’s leaders to successfully complete the task of protecting the national sovereignty of the sea and islands.

For his part, Deputy Secretary Vinh expressed his thanks to the Navy Command and informed the delegation of some outstanding achievements of the city.

He added that, the city and Navy Zone 3 have had a close relationship. In particular, officers and soldiers of Navy Zone 3 have actively got involved in the work of natural disaster prevention and control, ensuring security and safety, and guaranteeing the city's stability, development and investment attraction.

He promised that the municipal authorities will make more efforts to support the Navy Zone 3 forces to fulfill its assigned tasks, especially in protecting the homeland's sea and islands in a sustainable and stable manner.
