Deputy PM pays pre-Tet visit to Military Zone 5 Command

Reporting at the reception for Deputy PM Binh, Lieutenant General Trinh Dinh Thach, Political Commissar of Military Zone 5, said that in 2024, the Party Committee and the Command of Military Zone 5 thoroughly grasped and effectively implemented the resolutions and directives of the Party and the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defence on military and defense tasks, especially in performing the function of State management of defence.
In addition, Military Zone 5 Command directed the continuous innovation and breakthrough in improving training, drills, competitions and sports, he added.
Deputy PM Nguyen Hoa Binh acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the officers and soldiers of Military Zone 5 in the past time, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety, and creating a favourable environment and conditions for the local economic and social development. At the same time, it was a solid and reliable support for the Party Committee, the government and the people of the city.

Deputy PM Binh emphasised that the country is entering an era of growth, in which the strategy of socio-economic development, national defense and security is emphasised.
He, therefore, ased officers and soldiers of the Military Zone 5 Command to continue to perform well their advisory functions with the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence in planning and implementing guidelines, policies, and laws on the military and defence fields in conjunction with socio-economic development.
