Da Nang Party chief congratulates Consulate General of Laos on 70 years of Party leadership

Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang, on Friday, visited the Consulate General of Laos in Da Nang to extend congratulations on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (March 22, 1955 - March 22, 2025).

He was accompanied by Chairman of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Van Trung and Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Le Quang Nam.

On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang, Secretary Quang conveyed the congratulatory message and sent the best wishes to the leaders of the Party, State, Government and people of Laos in general, and Lao Consul General in Da Nang Souphanh Hadaoheuang and staff of the Consulate General in particular.

Mr. Quang congratulated the Lao People's Revolutionary Party for its great, comprehensive achievements over the past seven decades, thereby bringing the country to important development steps, and gradually affirming its role and position in the international arena.

He expressed his delight at the close relationships between Viet Nam and Laos in general, and Da Nang and Lao south-central provinces in particular. In particular, Da Nang has implemented many programmes to support Lao south-central provinces in terms of infrastructure, healthcare, and education.

City Party chief Quang believed that the officers and staff of the Lao Consulate General will fulfill their tasks well, contributing positively to the development of the relationship between Viet Nam and Laos in general and between Da Nang and Laotian localities in particular.

For his part, Lao Consul General in Da Nang Souphanh Hadaoheuang thanked the city for its longstanding and heartfelt support and assistance to Lao during its past struggles for independence as well as current development efforts.

In recent years, Da Nang has actively supported the provinces of south central Laos in terms of material and spiritual aspects, as well as facilitated the Lao community living and working in the locality.

Consul General Souphanh Hadaoheuang wished that the traditional friendship and special solidarity between Viet Nam and Laos, and between Da Nang and Lao south central provinces, will be deepened in the time to come.
