Da Nang, Ubisoft Group promote IT cooperation

During his reception on Tuesday for a group of visitors from France’s Ubisoft Group, Da Nang People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh informed that the Central Government has recently issued a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang, including the fields of semiconductors, information technology (IT), digital transformation, and innovative startups.

Currently, along with three existing concentrated IT Parks, the city is actively calling for investors to operate in the Software Park No. 2, located  in Thuan Phuoc Ward,Hai Chau District, which was put into operation in early 2025. The first phase of the Software Park has a floor area of ​​over 90,000m2 and meets the needs of more than 6,000 IT and digital technology personnel.

The city leader affirmed that the city will continue to build more concentrated IT parks invested by enterprises outside the budget.

"In addition, Da Nang boasts international quality medical facilities and a system of international schools from kindergarten to university, meeting the needs of medical examination and treatment, and studying according to high quality standards. This is also one of the factors attracting foreign experts to work in Da Nang” Chairman Chinh added.

He pledged that the municipal leaders will always accompany and create the most favourable conditions for investors, including Ubisoft Group, to expand and develop production and business activities in Da Nang.

For his part, Mr. Alexis Fischer, CEO of Ubisoft Viet Nam, thanked the enthusiastic and effective support of the city's departments, branches and sectors to help the group soon be granted an investment certificate. At the same time, he said that the enterprise has recently released to the market a product designed and manufactured by the company's branch in Da Nang.

"This is a product directly produced by talented local engineers and employees, receiving high appreciation from the market, and nominated for the best quality product award at an international award in New York. We are proud that this is a "Made in Viet Nam", "Made in Da Nang" product, he noted.

Currently, Ubisoft Group plans to move into operation at the Software Park No. 2 in 2026, with a scale of about 130 employees, Mr. Alexis Fischer shared.
