Da Nang leader receives Philippine Coast Guard ship officers
During his reception on Monday for a group of officers and crew members from the vessel BRP Gabriela Silang of the Philippine Coast Guard, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong expressed his delight at the port visit to the city by the Philippine coast guard vessel.

Vice Chairman Cuong affirmed the visit contributed to strengthening the friendly and trustworthy relationship, and strategic partnership, between Viet Nam and the Philippines.
He added 2025 will mark the 10th anniversary of the Viet Nam - Philippines strategic partnership, so the city wishes to expand cooperation with the Philippines in the near future. He pledged that the municipal authorities are willing to create favourable conditions for the coast guard forces of both sides to carry out cultural and sports exchange activities, share information, and exchange experiences in technical expertise.

For his part, Rear Admiral Joeven L Fabul, Deputy Commander of the Philippine Coast Guard, thanked the city leader and relevant agencies for facilitating the smooth visit. He said he was impressed by the city’s beauty of natural landscapes, and the friendliness and hospitality of local people.
