Transport plans for university and college entrance examinees
At a meeting yesterday to discuss plans for supporting students who are taking this year’s university and college entrance exams, the General Director of the Da Nang Transportation and Bus Station Management Company, Mr Le Viet Hoang, instructed local transport providers to ensure sufficient vehicles and the safety of candidates.
In particular, owners of passenger transport vehicles are asked not to overcharge candidates, and to join the local relevant agencies in the fight against unlicensed coaches and illegal coach depots, and ensure transport order in the city.
In addition, Mr Hoang directed the owners of fixed-route coaches to display their fares and information about their routes in accordance with the city’s regulations. Top priority will be given to selling tickets to the exam takers and their relatives.
Under the plans, about 150 local transport service providers will carry candidates from Da Nang to other localities nationwide.
The 1st phase of this year’s university and college entrance exams will take place nationwide on 4 and 5 July, the 2nd on 9 and 10 July, and the final phase on 15 and 16 July.
