City leader checks progress in Hoa Xuan Ward
On Wednesday, the Da Nang People’s Committee Chairman, Mr Van Huu Chien, made an inspection visit to Cam Le District’s Hoa Xuan Ward in order to check the site clearance and relocation work taking place there. Chairman Chien directed local relevant agencies to deal quickly with some of the pressing issues at the site.
With regard to the ward’s sports complex, the city’s authorities will give funding to implement the project’s site clearance work. Initially, 60 households in Tung Tam and Lo Giang residential areas received compensation and have moved from the construction site in order to avoid waterlogging during the coming rainy season.

The 3rd phase of the expanded E2 resettlement area is under construction, and 5.5m and 7.5m-wide roads are being planned. The project’s infrastructure developer was asked to ensure that the work is completed on schedule.
As for the Hoa Xuan Eco-urban area, Chairman Chien urged local relevant agencies and construction units to expedite the site clearance and infrastructure construction, as well as to complete 2 major traffic routes, as soon as possible.
Following approval from Chairman Chien, the city’s Infrastructure Construction and Development Company will asphalt 3 roads at the Ba Tung resettlement area in Ngu Hanh Son District. In addition, 200 billion VND from the city’s budget will be spent on asphalting roads in some other new residential areas in the 4th quarter of this year.
