The Da Nang authorities recently announced that they will start to collect road-use fees from local owners of 2 and 3-wheeled vehicles, excluding electric motorcycles. 

In detail, permanent and over 6 month-temporarily registered residents, plus organisations who own, use or manage motorcycles in Da Nang, are required to pay 50,000 VND per year for vehicles up to 100cc, and 100,000 VND per year for those over 100cc.

Vehicles belonging to the local defence and police forces and poor social policy householders will be exempt from these fees.

Motorbike owners should pay the fee at the collection office of their ward or commune People’s Committee in their area of residence.
