As part of the 2013 “Improving Storage on Offshore Fishing Vessels” project, the Da Nang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has provided 20.656m³ of polyurethane (PU) worth around 120 million VND for 2 fishing vessels from Son Tra District.   

The vessels are the 90CV DNa-90225 TS boat belonging to Mr Pham Hung from An Hai Tay Ward, and the 420CV DNa-90442 TS boat of Mr Nguyen Cu from An Hai Bac Ward.

The PU storage will help offshore fishing vessels to keep their catches in good condition, expand their volume of cold storage, and increase the storage period.  It will also help fishermen to stay out at sea for longer by increasing their storage capacity.

The department is planning to give the same help to Mr Ho Van Tinh from Thanh Khe District’s Xuan Ha Ward in the middle of this month.
