About 1,000 children from across Da Nang took part in a “Full-moon Night Festival” at the city’s Children’s House on Wednesday.  The event was co-organised by the House, along with the Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organisation of Da Nang.

During the event, the organisers gave 300 gifts totalling 75 million VND to local poor studious pupils. The Sun Group contributed 50 million VND towards this.  In addition, the TH True Milk Group distributed 44,000 glasses of milk valued at 308 million VND to local children.

As well as bringing a joyful Mid-autumn Festival to the children, the event contributed to the preservation of such Vietnamese traditional art forms as lion dancing and lantern making.  Furthermore, it also showed society’s great care and concern for the city’s children, especially those who live in difficult circumstances.
