Presently, the 166.8m-tall, 34-storey-plus-2-basements structure is the city’s tallest building and it has cost an estimated 1,731 billion VND in total. The centre features a 24.6m-tall, 4-storey lower block, and a 142.2m-tall, 30-storey tower block above it.
The cylindrical building will have ventilation systems installed and there will be 12 Schindler elevators from Germany. 11 of them will be used to carry the centre’s employees and visitors, whilst the other one will be dedicated for people attending functions in the centre’s 1,088-seater conference hall. There will be an additional elevator for rescue work and incident response.
The new centre will be equipped with a special telephone network with an 080 code, high-speed internet, high-fidelity interactive and online television services, a data transmission network, wifi and in-building wireless coverage systems.
This centre will also be installed with the Intelligent Building Management System (IBMS) which comprises mechanical, electrical, security, communications and overall management systems. Its purpose is to create a convenient and comfortable working environment for the centre’s employees, as well as to enhance their working capacity.
