According to the Da Nang Preventive Medicine Centre, 89 cases of dengue fever were recorded in the city between 17 and 23 November, an increase of 15 compared with the previous week.  There were 22 cases in Thanh Khe District, 20 in Hai Chau District, 13 in Ngu Hanh Son District, and 20 in Cam Le District. 

Since the start of the year, a total of 1,723 cases have been recorded in the city, double the figure for the same period last year.  The highest number is for Hai Chau District with 463 cases.  This is followed by Thanh Khe District with 287, Lien Chieu District 256, Son Tra District 251, Ngu Hanh Son District 193, Cam Le District 163, and Hoa Vang District 110.
