Following instructions from the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the National Veterinary Company has provided free to Da Nang 10,000 doses of foot-and-mouth disease vaccine for cattle, 80,000 doses of cholera vaccine for pigs, and 20,000 litres of Benkocid antiseptic.  The purpose is to help the city authorities to effectively prevent and control any outbreaks of infectious diseases after the recent flooding.  In addition, the Tan An Company has provided free 5 tonnes of chlorine.
