The Da Nang Police Department has launched a road traffic safety campaign which will run until 31 December.

Top priority will be given to widely publicising the road traffic laws, and the administrative and criminal punishments which will result from the misuse of alcohol or other stimulants by vehicle drivers.  The police will pay special attention to increasing their patrols, controls, and handling of alcohol-related violations by road users in order to reduce the number of road traffic accidents.
