Following recent approval from the Da Nang authorities, a design contest for a Hoang Sa (Paracel Islands) Exhibition House is to be launched in the city.  It will be open to domestic and foreign individuals and organisations.  The winner of the contest will be announced early next year.  

The exhibition house is expected to be built on an area of 714m² on Hoang Sa Street in Son Tra District’s Man Thai Ward.  Once completed, the house will display maps, pictures, documents and artifacts relating to Viet Nam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa archipelago.  It aims to help local residents, along with domestic and foreign visitors, to clearly understand Viet Nam's legitimate sovereignty over the archipelago.
