A 2.5 billion VND plan for decorative lighting for the next Tet festival, in late January/early February 2014, has been submitted to the Da Nang authorities for approval.

Under the plan, lights will be installed in front of the municipal People's Committee building, along Tran Hung Dao Street, at the junction of Nguyen Huu Tho and Xo Viet Nghe Tinh streets, and at the junction of Nguyen Huu Tho and Duy Tan streets.

Apart from these lights, special attention will also be paid to making some of the city’s inner-city areas more sparkling at night.  Decorative lighting will be installed in trees and along the 2 September, Tran Phu and Vo Van Kiet streets, and on other inner-city streets. 

In addition, spotlights and impressive decorative lights will be set up in front of the People's Committee and the Party Committee headquarters, the new Administration Centre building, and at other places in the city centre.
