A launch ceremony for the 2013 National Action Month of HIV/AIDS control took place in Da Nang last Saturday.

The main purpose was to encourage the whole community to become actively involved in implementing the “National Strategy on HIV/AIDS Prevention towards 2020 with a vision to 2030”.

The Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee took the opportunity to appeal for local organisations and their members, the Fatherland Front at all levels, as well as local residents to become actively involved in HIV/AIDS prevention and control activities in the city.  This will make a significant contribution to promoting the city's sustainable development in order to make Da Nang a harmonious, friendly, attractive, peaceful and liveable city.
