Illegal logging has been taking place over recent days in Hoa Bac Commune’s Ta Lang Village, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang.  A large number of illegally cut logs have been found alongside local roads, and they have not yet been seized by any forest management agency.

The head of the city’s Forest Management Division, Mr Tran Van Luong, said that a raid had been conducted recently to crackdown on illegal logging in Hoa Bac Commune’s forests.  He confirmed that he would ask the local forest management teams to investigate the situation in Ta Lang Village, and deal with this matter immediately.
