A new Employment Service Centre officially opened in Lien Chieu District’s Hoa Khanh Bac Ward, Da Nang, on Tuesday morning.  This is the 3^rd such centre in the central region to have been established this year by the Vietnamese Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

To mark the occasion, a jobs fair was held at the centre with 1,000 job opportunities being offered by about 40 local businesses.  Available positions were mainly in marketing, financial consultancy, personnel management, business management, Japanese language teaching, pre-school teaching, welding and security.

The new Employment Service Centre

Since 2006, the city’s Employment Service Centre has organised 134 jobs fairs, which together have attracted the participation of nearly 8,000 businesses offering over 193,000 job opportunities in the city.  In addition, over this period more than 200,000 people have been provided with useful information on employment vacancies and vocational training programmes.
