The Da Nang authorities have decided that a fine of 100 million VND will be imposed on both the Tan Ky Construction Real Estate Trading Corporation (Takco) and the Service Trading Construction No 55 Company.  The reason is the delays in their importing of electromechanical equipment for the installation of air conditioners and elevators at the city’s new Administration Centre project.

The city's Management Board for Construction Projects will be asked to deduct the fine from the contractors’ final payments, paid after they have completed all their work for this project. 

Previously, the city’s authorities had agreed to extend the deadline for fully completing the project to 30 November.
