The 5^th Bartender Skills contest took place at Da Nang’s Eastern Sea Park on Tuesday evening.

Organised by the city’s Tourism Promotion Centre, this annual contest was part of the series of activities in Da Nang’s 2014 Summer Rendezvous programme.  The aim of the competition is to display the skills of mixing cocktails and bartendering to the audience, as well as to create ever more special cocktails.

This year’s event attracted 17 contestants from Da Nang and 2 from Hue.  Thirteen competed in the display of bartender skills, whilst the remainder showed their talents for mixing cocktails.  To gain high scores, the contestant’s manners as a bartender, and their professional skills and creative inspiration in cocktail-mixing, were the key points for the contest's Judging Board.
