On Tuesday, the Da Nang Labour Federation, the city’s Farmers Association, and the Golden Heart Fund of the (Lao Dong) Labour Newspaper jointly held a meeting with 163 fishermen from 22 of the local offshore fishing boats, and gave them 163 million VND in total. 

Also at the event, the Labour Federation presented 110 life-jackets, along with some products from the city’s 29 March Textiles and Garments Company and the Than Uyen Tea Company, to the fishermen.

Earlier, 150 million VND from the Labour Newspaper’s Golden Heart Fund had already been donated to fishermen in Quang Nam Province.
