Since the start of this year, the Da Nang Association for Supporting Poor and Disadvantaged Women and Children has raised over 76 billion VND from generous donors.  The money has gone to help poor and disadvantaged women and children locally.

Over the period, the Association has also funded surgery for 35 local children with congenital heart complaints under the “Screening Congenital Heart Complaints for Those Aged between 1 and 20” programme.  In addition, the association has provided free medical examinations and treatment, worth over 2 billion VND, to 2,318 poor local cancer patients.
