Apology in writing required for any dossier handling delays
Following recent instructions from the Da Nang People’s Committee, the local district, ward and commune authorities, agencies and departments are required to give an apology in writing to organisations and citizens if there are any delays in handling their administrative dossiers. This requirement is based on the city’s regulations regarding the handling of administrative procedures through the city’s “one-stop” and “cross-level one-stop-shop” mechanisms at these local administrative agencies.
Staff members who make any mistakes in dealing with dossiers or delay returning the results on more than two occasions will be either punished or transferred to other work places, depending on the level of violation. Apologies in writing to those affected must be signed by the heads of these local administrative agencies and they must be enclosed with the results.

As for delays in dealing with administrative procedures due to the ineffective cooperation amongst these local relevant agencies, explanations and apologies in writing must be also sent to those affected.
