First-ever Da Nang Architecture Awards to be launched in January
The first-ever Da Nang Architecture Awards will be officially launched in the city in January 2015. This was officially announced at the 7th Congress of the city’s Architects’ Association in the 2014 – 2019 tenure, which took place in the city on Sunday morning.
The awards, which will then be held annually, aim to honour local young architects in recognition of their work in promoting the development of architecture in the central region and highlands. The participants will be evaluated by prestigious architects and architecture experts, all involved in urban planning, landscaping and architecture. Prize-winning entries will then be displayed at an exhibition, and the awards ceremony will be held annually on 27 April to mark Viet Nam Architecture Day.
