So far this year, a total of 3,150 complaints have been sent from local residents to the Office of the Da Nang National Assembly Members’ Group via its 05113888888 hotline.  The complaints have mainly focussed on environmental pollution, social order and security, the supply of electricity, and water problems.

Over 85 % of the complaints received have so far been fully resolved, whilst the remainder are still being dealt with.  Nearly 180 million VND in fines has been imposed for administrative violations in the city. 
The municipal People’s Council’s Standing Board has instructed the People’s Committee, local district authorities, relevant agencies and departments to inspect and promptly handle other pressing matters revealed in the media.
