The Six Senses Ninh Van Bay Resort in central Viet Nam was mentioned in an article published Monday in the U.K.’s Huffington Post magazine as one of the world’s 10 most amazing places for a spa treatment.

Written by travel writer Jane Anderson, the article provides a list of 10 of the world's dreamiest locations for a spa treatment, which can pamper even the most fastidious clients.

The Six Senses Ninh Van Bay, located in Khanh Hoa Province’s Nha Trang City, occupies the 8th place on the list.

Hidden within a secluded bay overlooking the Bien Dong (East Sea), the Six Senses Ninh Van Bay blends modern luxury with traditional Vietnamese architecture, Anderson writes.

Nestling at the foot of a dramatic mountainside, the Six Senses Spa at Ninh Van Bay offers a secluded retreat within tropical jungle environs.

The writer also introduces Nhung, one of the spa’s therapists, who is blind from birth.

She knows exactly how to pinpoint stress and tension zones to provide relief, Anderson adds.

“Signature treatments include a traditional Vietnamese massage which uses blanda and penduliflora oils and incorporates a pressure point technique with invigorating movements to relax and rejuvenate the body,” she notes.

Exsus, a travel company based in London, offers package tours of seven nights at the Six Senses Ninh Van Bay from £2,375 per person in a Hill Top Pool Villa with breakfast, including flights and transfers, Anderson recommends.

The other 9 nourishing spas on the writer’s list are COMO Shambhala Estate in Bali, Indonesia; Hotel Hohenwart in South Tyrol, Italy; Hotel Cipriani in Venice, Italy; Huvafen Fushi in Maldives; One&Only Hayman Island in Queensland, Australia; Kulm Hotel in St Moritz, Switzerland; Costa Navarino in Greece; Azura Quilalea Private Island in Mozambique; and Sri Panwa in Phuket, Thailand.

The Six Senses Ninh Van Bay Resort has also been recommended by 12 world-renowned tour operators and travel magazines including Tatler, World Travel Award, The Guide, and Conde' Nast Traveller.

The five-star resort spans over 26,000 m² and boasts 54 luxury villas which blend Europe’s time-honored architecture with Viet Nam’s rustic charms.

One of the sumptuous resort’s highlights is the deluxe spa services, nourishing therapies, and relaxing massages.
