Since the start of this year, a total of 80,000 illegal advertisements on power poles and at T-junctions, intersections, alleys and in other public areas have been removed across Da Nang.  

Over the period, authorities in all districts of the city have asked the municipal Department of Information and Communications and local telecom service providers to cut off thousands of telephone numbers found on illegal advertisements.

However, only 178 of the suggested numbers have so far been cut off due to lack of evidence, especially photos showing where illegal advertisements had been found.
