A total of 92 junior and senior high school pupils aged between 12 and 18 from across Da Nang are participating in a military programme at the Armoured Battalion No 699 from 5 - 19 June.

The 14-day programme has been jointly organised by the city’s Youth Union and the local Military Command.

In addition to covering military regulations and conventional weapons, the trainees will learn social skills such as group and production activities, behaviour, and sports and physical activities with the Armoured Battalion’s soldiers.

The trainees will also have the opportunity to take part in firefighting practices, to experience challenges in the forest, and to learn about the daily lives of people in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Bac Commune.
