The 14^th Congress of the Party organisation of the Da Nang Power Company in the 2015 - 2020 tenure took place in the city on Wednesday.

Over the 2010 - 2015 tenure, 92 staff members from the company became members of the Communist Party of Viet Nam.  The company made great efforts to ensure sufficient electricity supplies for the city’s socio-economic development, especially for the rapid growth of the local industrial sector.

With regard to the key tasks for the 2015 - 2020 tenure, the focus will be on enhancing Party-building work and upholding the vital role of the company’s social and political organisations in its emulation campaigns.

Importance will be paid to installing more electricity grids and upgrading the existing ones, as well as promoting the application of new technologies in the company’s production activities in order to reduce its production costs and raise its production capacity. 

In particular, the company will strive to fulfil its target of increasing the electricity output to 3.6 billion kWh in 2020. 

Special heed will also be paid to boosting customer’s access to electricity products, improving the quality of customer service, and ensuring sufficient power supplies for the daily lives of local residents, and agricultural and industrial production activities.
