On Thursday, the family of Mr Cao Van Hang from Son Tra District’s Nai Hien Dong Ward in Da Nang launched his new 4.5 billion VND fishing boat DNa 90686.  The 845 hp 19m-long and 5.4m-wide boat will become involved in offshore fishing and fisheries support activities.

On the same day, the 840 hp fishing vessel DNa 90685, owned by the family of Mr Cao Quang Trung from the ward, was also launched.  Mr Trung said that after the launch, he and 8 other fishermen will catch fish by seine and drag netting in the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa fishing grounds.

Earlier, the family of Mr Cao Van Minh, also from the same ward, launched his over 800 hp fishing vessel DNa 90684.

The building of these three new fishing boats began earlier this year and the building costs have come from their own families.
