A delegation  of Da Nang’s leaders, led by municipal Party Committee Secretary Tran Tho, today paid tribute to musician Phan Huynh Dieu at the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Funeral House in District 3.

The late musician was born in 1924 in Da Nang and he passed away on 29 June at the Thong Nhat Hospital in HCMC.

Dieu’s eldest son, Mr Phan Hong Phong, said that his father’s last wish was to have some of his ashes scattered on the Han River in Da Nang where he was born.
