At around 5.50am on Tuesday, some machines containing oils used in industrial production fell off a container vehicle whilst it was passing through the roundabouts of Ngo Quyen and Pham Van Dong streets in Da Nang.  At the time, the vehicle was en route from the city’s Tien Sa Port to Ngu Hanh Son District.

The oil spilled all over the road surface after the incident. Luckily, no human injuries were reported, but the incident caused traffic problems.

In his testimony, the container vehicle’s driver, 31-year-old Dang Cong Cuong, said that the incident was mainly caused by the rough road surface and the cargo being too loosely-packed on his vehicle.

The incident is under investigation.
