Published: January 21, 2016

According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, the Da Nang area and elsewhere along the central coast will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoons and at night over the next few days due to the effects of cold air further north.  These areas will experience north-easterly winds at level 3/4 and temperatures ranging between 22 and 250C.

Tomorrow, the Tonkin Gulf will experience north-easterly winds at level 8/9 and rough seas.  From 23 January, offshore in all parts of the East Sea (including the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa waters) will see north-easterly winds at level 9/10, very rough seas, and waves up to 5m in height.
