It has been organised by the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organisations, the city’s branch of the Viet Nam-Laos Friendship Association, the University of Economics, and the My An Ward Fatherland Front Committee.

Under the programme, 20 Laotian students studying at the city’s university will live with 10 families in Ngu Hanh Son District’s My An Ward.  During their 2-week stay, the students will have the opportunity to learn about the customs and cultures of Vietnamese people, and participate in daily activities with the families.

Inthilath Maichanh, a Lao student on the programme, expressed her happiness at having a new family and enjoying useful practical experiences in the city.

Mrs Do Thi Kim Linh, Vice Chairwoman of the city’s branch of the Viet Nam-Laos Friendship Association, remarked that the programme will help to deepen the long-lasting traditional friendship and solidarity between the people of Viet Nam and Laos.
