No planned power cuts during Tet Festival

The Director of the Da Nang Power Company, Mr Ngo Tan Cu, has assured the public that there will no planned power cuts in Da Nang between 20 January and 2 February – the period encompassing the Tet Festival which begins on 28 January.
It is expected that electricity consumption during Tet 2017 will be up 12% compared with last year, but the company’s workers are currently working to make sure that there will be sufficient and stable electricity supplies over the festival period, and that the electricity transmission lines and transformer stations will operate smoothly.
