The Da Nang Architecture and Planning Council recently gave their approval for a survey to be carried out into the construction of a 4-lane road tunnel at the intersection of 2 September, Tran Thi Ly and Duy Tan streets.

According to the project’s design consultants, the tunnel will take 2 September beneath the existing intersection and there will also be new approach roads and cuttings.

In addition to this tunnel project and 2 others which are currently underway, the city authorities are considering the construction of either overpasses or tunnels at other local intersections, including at the western end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge.
